From my Facebook page:
Sometimes I wonder if pain from parents in our child hood has a dynamic connection to who we are in Christ and where we are going in God. It can be a form of warfare from the enemy. But the key is to honor and be a peacemaker in our relationships. I do believe in generational curses/sin but the way in which the curse gets broken is in one word: change. Change and do what it takes to not follow any form of brokenness that has been passed down to you. All of this starts with gratitude and honor for where you are at today and how much Father’s are apart of our journey.

Tracey Perry Sliker I like this. It’s been so true in my life. Grateful for disappointments, pains and joys. It’s the combo intertwined with His Spirit that’s drawn me to call upon Jesus and believe. To forgive, to repent and to ask for an increase for grace and power. It’s been the Lord and His goodness that provides the desire and strength to change.

Jared Diehl We say all the time that God works all things together for good for those who love Him. But there is a difference between God using brokenness from others and then junk that has been passed down. I think the cycle can be broken and we can save our kids from a lot of pain knowing to that God will still use everything.
