I never really tell you what I am thinking. Not full thoughts and sentences. I can’t. I mean isn’t this the internet. The challenge in this internet savvy age is the boundaries we should have with what we shouldn’t say. Both should’s get interpreted through whomever is writing. Its not always clear what all my poems stand for and mean. Raw honesty seems to be the best way to gain an audience. Of course, the art of exaggeration is the bedrock of 98 percent of the stories you read and see.
I have no need to exaggerate untrue facts. Rather, the challenge in this life has been living what I know to be true.
Sometimes I will insert into a poem a line from a song and that usually means I am listening to it when I am writing it. It may or may not have anything to do with what I am writing about.
